UNPAVED ROADS PUNTA ALA APRIL 25-26 2026

Unpaved Roads returns to Punta Ala for the fourth time, and that is no coincidence. This corner of Maremma, with its centuries-old pine forest, white roads, scent of sea salt and glimpses of the coastline, perfectly reflects the spirit of the event: experiencing the bike as discovery, exploration and shared moments.

That is why PuntAla Camp & Resort once again supports Unpaved Roads with a special early opening: a combination that works perfectly, because the resort’s relaxed atmosphere, the surrounding nature and the idea of a weekend by the sea blend naturally with the event’s no-race philosophy. Here, performance is not the focus. What matters is the pleasure of the journey, the landscapes and the natural rhythm of Maremma, in an experience where human connection is part of the ride itself.

Gravel becomes a special way to explore the area at your own pace, through suddenly opening views, gentle climbs, pine woods, white roads and coastal stretches.

The weekend programme includes opportunities to meet and connect, talks with partners and local organizations, a social ride on Saturday with three bonus routes created for the occasion, and Sunday’s main ride on two courses: a long route of 82 km with 1,020 m of elevation gain, and a short route of 56 km with 540 m of elevation gain. Two routes designed to offer different yet equally rewarding experiences, always centred on exploration, sharing and the pleasure of riding together.

With a record of over 500 participants this year, Unpaved Roads confirms itself as one of the most popular spring outdoor events in Maremma.
